Hi Mark,
Oh wow, you're right.. Blonde moment there by me. Gixen was reporting it ending at 172.50 but you're right, eBay has it finishing at 213.50. Sorry about that and thanks for your help :)

Ollie,
That auction ended at AU $213.50 not $172.50, have you provided the number of the auction that had the 'Bid Under Asking Price' status or is it that Gixen reported the final price as $172.50, it sometimes gets that wrong but it does not affect the result.

Post subject: Bid Under Asking Price?
Hello,
I was just ondering why this bid did not work.. I entered a bid on gixen for this item 280826416446 for $180 and the item sold for $172.50. Gixen claims that my bid was under asking price but when I click the link that supposedly tells me why, it says the bid increment should have been $2.50. Now, if my maths is correct, I would have 3 bid increments in hand so why did it not bid? Am I missing something here? It's not a massive deal but I'd like to know what happened so I can avoid it next tine..
Cheers,
Ollie
