Thanks for the answer. No problem, I placed a bid on something that I knew I would have been extremely happy to win at the price I bid; of course I didn't win it! :-) At least I have proven that the system logged in, sent me the information emails etc.
All good! :D

No, after you have set up your snipe you can close the desktop, you can also switch off your computer, the Gixen servers do the bidding for you at the required time.
If you can set up the snipe then Gixen should be able to bid for you, it does not matter if the auction is not on the .com site, Gixen can and will (by default) bid on the site where it is available.
The offset time is the amount of time before the auction ends that Gixen will place the bid. It can only be set to a value that is not 6 seconds if you have a Mirror subscription.

No it doesn't, you need a friendly seller to set one up for you if you want to do that.
What exactly do you want to test?
Should I leave Gixen client running on my PC till the end of the auction? This is the example of test.
One more example: testing the work and offset time on auctions that is different from the US eBay.

Post subject: test auction?
Does Gixen have a test auction? i.e. an auction I can run a test bid on?
