That's it. 6 seconds in sufficiently short in my opinion, and less risky, though you are fine with 3 seconds if you use mirror. A snipe is sent at this time, but it may take a second or so (usually) for ebay to accept it.

Post subject: New to Gixen - Auction ends tonight plz help
Just subscribed to Gixen mirror, I really want to win a rare item ending tonight and have a couple of questions plz. Once I place a snipe, does my bid go in at that point or does it launch before the close of the auction? There is 1 other bidder, should I do 6 secs/3 secs or both 3 secs? Want to avoid bing outbid by a one click bid. Also changed my password to a stronger one. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!!
