Well 6$ per year is a real low price, but since I don't usually buy items on Ebay, I think I will use the two web method by the moment.
Thank you very much for your answer.

There is no issue with eBay raising the price so long as you use the same eBay id on both.
Note though that if Goofbay sends its bid before Gixen you prevent Gixen from being able to place a bid because eBay will not accept two bids of the same amount from the same eNay id at different times.
What you achieve by doing what you propose is pretty much the same as a Mirror subscription here on Gixen, but you don't get the other benefits of having a Mirror subscription (like being able to set offsets, access to the Desktop Manager etc.).. but you save $6 a year... Is the extra time involved in scheduling and administering snipes on two different sites really worth that little to you?

Post subject: What about placing two snipes on the same item?
Hi there,
Supose I set a Goofbay snipe on an item and I want to place a second snipe (different web based sniping platform) as a backup in case Goofbay fails to place snipe on time for any reason. I am going to set the same bid in both of them.
Is any of the alternative snipes raising the price or will they respect my bid because of they are set with the same user name?
thanks
