cardigancanyon, Gixen was late for this one. The status was erroneously recognized as "OUTBID" - this will be fixed soon.
As for your remaining items, they should be fine, they do not have an increased chance of failing.

130447401475 Levi s Men s 511 Skinny Jeans --- 29 x (by shern34)
ENDED 10.01 4.19 USD OUTBID
I woke up this morning so sad that I lost these jeans and then very shocked when I looked closer and discovered that had I bid more then double the closing price. I have 2 more items ready to close in a few hours. Am I safe?

Peter, please email me. If possible at all, I want to make this up to you in some way, as in this case your bid failed likely due to Gixen error despite you being a mirror subscriber. And that shouldn't have happened.

Mario/Cupid,
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I was at work and EBay is a banned site so I could not bid live! :(
I do hope I find another as I know there was 100 prepared for this experimental flight but this was the first I had seen in 10 years!
That said, I am still a big fan, highly recommend the mirror subscription (which I would have thought would have alleviated the above problem!)
Keep up the good work!
Cheers from OZ,
Peter

Peter, yesterday just at that time (18.00 PDT) there was an issue that caused many snipes to fail. I checked the logs, and seems that this snipe was indeed late, but the response page was erroneously recognized as "OUTBID".
I am still trying to determine what caused the problem. At first I thought it was ebay that caused this, as both main and mirror servers were affected, but now some indicators from the logs show that the problem might have been on my side, and that one of the processes may have caused servers to overload. I have made the necessary fixes since then.
I sincerely apologize for this, I hope you can find a similar item again.

Post subject: Outbid but my bid was waaay higher than the winner?
Mario,
I do not understand how this one got away?! :(
I was watching this item 120637098009 for 10 days and appeared to have it in the bag but fo rsome reason I didn't...
My snipe was set at $153 USD with the winning bid only $63 USD.
Can you please let me know what happened as Gixen.com is usually so reliable.
Cheers from OZ
Peter
