I have heard of ways people have got round the restriction, some are legitimate but costly, time consuming, and/or have more risk associated with the payment methods that need to be used , especially when sellers choose only to ship to confirmed Paypal addresses... Some are not legitimate at all, and simply do not work unless the seller agrees to them.
I will leave it to the reader to research further if it is important to them.
Most often the easiest way is to contact the seller of an item of interest and ask them to open up the auction in some way so that you are able to bid legitimately.

And it does - but the restriction is enforced by ebay, and Gixen can't bypass that. You would have got the same message from ebay had you tried to bid manually.
Sorry for the complaint, I also just experienced the manual bid restriction. eBay's fault! Try to hack them! :)

That will be a choice that the seller made about where they are willing to send items.
Why do you think Gixen has anything to do with it, or could have done anything about it when it was detected?
