See below the price that was received by Gixen. It's quite unfortunate that they chose to handle this buyer protection in this way, it sure makes things confusing.

You're looking at the bids displayed
here
where Ebay have chosen not to include the buyers premium which they call 'buyer protection' (they actually reduce the displayed bid amount that was submitted by that on that page).
Whereas the price that applies to new bids is the one displayed on the main auction page
here
, which does include that charge ('incl. ?GBP 8.37 Buyer Protection fee') since you have to pay it if you bid on a UK auction listed by what Ebay have determined to be a 'private' seller.
Your confusion is therefore due to Ebays decision to display bids in different ways in those two places.
Since the bid increment in that price range is ?GBP 5, the minium bid that Ebay would have accepted was ?GBP 205.20 with the buyers premium included.
As recently discussed
here
, the discrepancy also applies between different Ebay sites.

Post subject: Bid rejected despite being higher than winning price – It
Hello Mario,
I would like your help investigating a failed snipe on eBay UK.
eBay item ID: 860022018099
Item: Intel Core i7-13700K
My maximum bid: ?GBP 201.95
Final winning price: ?GBP 191.83
Gixen reported current price: ?GBP 200.20
Both Gixen Main and Mirror returned the same error: BID UNDER ASKING PRICE.
However, my maximum bid was ?GBP 10.12 higher than the final winning price. I checked the eBay bidding history, and my bid does not appear. The auction ended with six bids from two bidders.
My Gixen Mirror subscription and eBay authorization are active, and both servers are configured for eBay UK.
Could you please check the server logs and explain why my bid was rejected? I am particularly concerned about whether the UK Buyer Protection Fee or eBay's minimum bid increment may have caused this discrepancy.
I use Gixen regularly and would like to avoid losing future auctions because of the same issue.
Thank you for your assistance.
