Did you click on some scam ad maybe? Gixen is using google ads, and Google is supposed to filter these out, but I got reports from other users too that these are occassionally present.

Post subject: Credit Card scam warning!
I opened a Gixen account today and tried to pay for the $11.95 mirror fee using my PayPal account. My PP account is / was connected to a Visa Card that was in good standing. As soon as I clicked on \"use xxxx visa for this transaction\" the card was immediately declined. Hmm. A few moments later my phone alerted from Visa Fraud. There was an attempted charge for $2.00 from an entity that did not even appear to be connected to Gixen. When I answered Visa Fraud dept that it did not appear to be a transaction I authorized they immediately locked my card and told me to call customer service for clarification. I did so immediately and was told that this was apparently a scam operation attempt (they actually tried twice using 2 different names) and that they would have to send me a new card with a new number etc etc. Meanwhile my Visa account is locked for 7-10 business days and that when I got my new card I was going to have to go to each business that I had auto pay with this card and change the account and card # When I asked Visa how the scammers got my card info so fast they \"shrugged\" and said it was probably a spoofed site possibly connected to the Ads that appear on the Gixen homepage. I logged out of Gixen, logged back in and deleted ALL the ads then using a different Visa card I paid the mirror fee and it went thru properly and at this point Gixen appears to be working correctly. I just have to wait \"7-10 business days\" to then spend a bunch of time to update the locked down Visa account with bunch of vendors (including E-bay). JFG, just what I need. Hope this is not a portent of things to come with Gixen as it is connected to my E-bay account.
