eBay requires that you renew the authorization every 18 months or whenever you change your ebay password or username. This is free of charge. See detailed step-by-step guide and explanation here:

A
forum search
for 'Invalid Authorization' does bring up a lot of results these days...
The vast majority lead to
this blog
and/or
this video
.
To reiterate, once again, it's in the second section of the Settings page, it doesn't cost you anything, takes just a few minutes, and I advise everyone to do it whenever they get a failure that mentions anything to do with Authorization... and try to remember it must be done at least once every 18 months, as otherwise Ebay automatically expires it.

Post subject: INVALID AUTHORIZATION
I got an 'Invalid Authorization\" Error today on lot 316171053711. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it? I checked & it looks like I still won the auction. Thanks.
