In each of these cases, not only was the bid not submitted, Gixen reported that my bid was too low (in some cases it would have been, in others not) and it bizarrely reported the actual winning bid price as much lower than it really was. I think what is happening is that the "yes I want to see A-D-U-L-T items" cookie expires and Gixen doesn't realize, so it can't get the current item info (price) nor submit bids, but doesn't recognize the error condition it is in. Just guessing, but I can't think of any other explanation right off hand.
