Certainly, and acknowledged as such in my first paragraph.

If you have a stock email
I have stock emails for many situations, that I've built up over the years...
I generally find that I end up writing a new one (admittedly perhaps based partly on those), because every situation is unique... so, that effort I made to produce those was actually mostly wasted.
Also bear in mind issues that affect the Gixen functions might well be with the same resources that would be used to send out bulk emails anyway... clearly in those circumstances they do have to be fixed first before it could even be contemplated to send out all those emails.

Well it clearly impacted functionality because people including myself missed out on items. If you have a stock email ready to go and a distribution list, it would take a minute at most to get it sent out, surely?

The issue is resolved now. I am talking to eBay and looking into making sure this does not happen again.

Post subject: Re: AWARE OF THE ISSUE \\\"Too many requests\\\"
Do we have any updates or an ETA or when this issue will be resolved? I had setup a few bids today and they all ended up failing due to this issue. These were the big ones that I was looking forward to and to see the item being sold at around $600 when my bid was $1200 hurts my soul. I already have more than 10 of these setup already and I need to know when this issue will get resolved as a paid member.

Post subject: AWARE OF THE ISSUE \"Too many requests\"
Due to a technical glitch, Gixen requests to eBay are declined at the moment. I am working on a fix for this. Snipes are failing at the moment both on main and mirror.
Please do not email me, I am too busy to be able to respond to emails at the moment. Follow this forum thread instead.
