there is an item ending in two days, the current, and only bid is ?GBP 363 but Gixen says the bid is ?GBP 350 When I click on the item in Gixen it shows the item on .com rather than .co.uk and does show that the bid on .com is indeed ?GBP 350 I am UK based and so is the listed item. I put a max bid on Gixen of just over ?GBP 500 but am now worried that my bids will fail as the price is ?GBP 13 higher on .co.uk 356984685014
That behaviour from Ebay is because this item is being sold by a private seller.
On .co.uk they now charge the buyer an extra premium, which is included in the price that they display (because UK law dictates that they have to). They don't charge that premium via other sites, so it doesn't get reflected there.
Most recently we've been discussing this
here
.
You can change which site Gixen bids on via the Target setting (fourth section) on the Settings page, and you can change which site the links point to via the Country setting (third section).
As Mario has said there are a few display issues with this, that might need sorting out on Gixen... but functionally it's operating correctly... there doesn't seem much point spending a lot of effort to sort out those issues when it's clear that Ebay haven't even thought through the consequences of what they've changed in this area.
