The site that you bid on doesn't generally affect anything when things go according to plan. What it can however mean is that if there is a dispute with the sale that the case must be handled via the site via which the item was purchased. But that's only really an issue if consumer regulations are very different between the jurisdictions in which the sites operate, or if you don't speak the default language of that site very well.
Yes I usually used ebay.com.my as it has estimated on local currency. It's handy to know without manually calculate. But on Gixen.com setting, I was unsure if I can enter different countries in drop down list will affect the price or other issues later on. Thanks

It doesn't require it, since on Ebay you can bid on items worldwide from all their sites.
However, it's certainly a convenience for you to have it access the site that you use.
So, to be more specific, it's the
https://www.ebay.com.my/
site that you use ?
Also, what is most important to you, being directed to that site when you click on the links, or having your bids placed on that site near the end of the auction, because these are two different settings ?

Hi, can you add my country ebay in the Gixen setting? My country is Malaysia. I was not using Gixen for very long time and didn't know now it requires country setting. Thanks
