Hello! Got a bit of a bizarre one... Item was $0.99, I set 1 snipe with max price of $6.23. Turns out I won the item for $7.00. I got one email saying: Item: 195935762229 Title: CONVERSE ALL STAR Uni NAVY BLUE TEXTILE LOW-TOP SNEAKERS - SIZE 8M Seller: brenda_02 Status (main): OUTBID Your maximum bid: 6.23 Current price: 7.00 I then got a second email immediately following saying: Item: 195935762229 Title: CONVERSE ALL STAR Uni NAVY BLUE TEXTILE LOW-TOP SNEAKERS - SIZE 8M Seller: brenda_02 Status (main): HIGH BIDDER Your maximum bid: 14.50 Current price: 7.00 You got this item for 7.50 USD less than your maximum bid! I never placed a snipe for 14.50... Whole this is only 77¢ more, and I'm not concerned about that, and happy to have won the item... Why did it say I had a max bid of $14.50? Why did the snipe bid higher than my actual max bid? I'm actually a bit concerned about this, for future snipes! Any idea what's happened here?
You have two Gixen accounts, both linked to the same eBay username. Using one Gixen account you set the max bid to 6.23, however on the second one your max bid was 14.50.
The 6.23 bid you set 4 days before auction end, and 14.50 bid was set some 3 hours before auction end.

I agree that is very odd.
What is the id of the Gixen account that you used to set up this snipe ? Is it 'Sevenpillardeals' ?
Do you have a mirror subscription?, Both of those bids are registered as arriving at Ebay at the same time.
On your snipes page what is it showing on both the Main and Mirror tabs ? Does that give an indication as to which had the higher bid amount and which one won the auction for you ? What are the offsets on both Main and Mirror ?
If you type the email address that received these notifications into this form:
https://www.gixen.com/forgotusername.php
and push the 'Submit' button, do you receive notification of more than one Gixen account ? If so what are the ids of those accounts ?

Post subject: Won an auction... But at a higher price than my max amount?
Hello!
Got a bit of a bizarre one...
Item was $0.99, I set 1 snipe with max price of $6.23.
Turns out I won the item for $7.00.
I got one email saying:
Item: 195935762229
Title: CONVERSE ALL STAR Uni NAVY BLUE TEXTILE LOW-TOP SNEAKERS - SIZE 8M
Seller: brenda_02
Status (main): OUTBID
Your maximum bid: 6.23
Current price: 7.00
I then got a second email immediately following saying:
Item: 195935762229
Title: CONVERSE ALL STAR Uni NAVY BLUE TEXTILE LOW-TOP SNEAKERS - SIZE 8M
Seller: brenda_02
Status (main): HIGH BIDDER
Your maximum bid: 14.50
Current price: 7.00
You got this item for 7.50 USD less than your maximum bid!
