I always recommend an offset larger than the default anyway.
I believe Mario wrote that in circumstances where the BIN price was below the bid that the offset would be increased automatically.
There's no harm in increasing the offset anyway, just to be sure.

Can a Gixen bid be higher than the BIN?
I am afraid it won't go through if it is higher than the BIN because Gixen gives me a warning.
