This is a very minor suggestiong but still something I noticed because the corresponding error message was inaccurate: When you enter an empty bid on the mobile website (as I like to do to verify its the right item etc) an error message shows up, stating several possible error causes with "wrong bid format" being one of them. In hindsight it sounds very obvious that I just had to enter a 0 into the bid-field but I think it should just default to 0 when the field is empty.
