Gixen is passing on a message that is generated by Ebay, so, if there's and issue, it isn't with the Gixen software. If it were me, as a next step I'd try to place a manual bid on one of this sellers items to see if it gets blocked in a similar way via Ebays web interface. IF it goes through I'd attempt another snipe via Gixen, and if that failed in the same way I'd go back to Ebay and ask them to investigate what is going on from their side. My suspicion in this would be that it's most likely that the seller has done something, perhaps even unintentionally, to get you onto their blocked bidders list. It's also possible that, as a result of you contacting them, that seller may go and look and take you off that list once more... we may never know if that is the case but at least if that does happen the problem will be resolved for you.
Post subject: You are not permitted to bid Unfortunately . .
Attempted to bid on 3 items a seller had listed but received this message after bidding ended: "You are not permitted to bid Unfortunately, this seller has decided that you are not permitted to bid on their listings."
I contacted the seller and he stated that he had not blocked me and has no idea why I received this message. I had purchased from him in the past with no issues.
Any thoughts?
