Post subject: My suggestion for best way to monetise this site
I am an infrequent user of ebay and gixen and I don't know if this has been suggested before but here is my suggestion for a fair and affordable pricing structure.
Rather than paying for a monthly / yearly subscription, I would much prefer a PAYG pricing structure, ie charging a % or a flat rate per snipe capped after a certain amount, say $1000 so that an individual snipe would never exceed $1-$2.
For example a 1% charge per snipe for goods up to $100 and then capped at $2 for anything over $1000 is not unreasonable.
To keep gixens advertised "free snipe" feature, this pricing structure could kick in after a predetermined number of free snipes per month (5-10 sounds reasonable) have been used up.
