There are two settings to consider, though neither are essential. The 'Country' setting just changes where the links on the snipe page point to. The 'Target' setting changes which site the bid is actually placed on. This only really makes any difference if there is later a dispute about the auction... then the laws and customs of the site where the bid was placed apply.. and in some very minor ways those can differ between those sites. The currency is determined by the auction, which is most often aligned with the site that it was listed on.
Most certainly.
If your primary bidding is on items from the UK site you may want to change your country setting in gixen. From the FAQ's:
Quote:
Can ebay item links point to my country eBay site (ebay.de, ebay.fr, etc) instead of eBay.com?
Yes, just go to your settings page and choose your ebay country site.
Also, when it comes to your bid amount do not enter any currency symbol - numbers and decimal point only. The currency you are bidding in is always determined by which eBay site you are placing the bid at.

Post subject: Will the Gixen bidder work with auctions on eBay.co.uk?
If I have an auction on eBay.co.uk, and my shipping address is to the UK - will it work?
