If you have no issues logging into Ebay and entering bids, with the socks proxy enabled, then it should be safe to edit your forthcoming snipes to re-enable them.
It is possible that Ebay only took action against your account bidding from one location, hence you might still win auctions via the Mirror service if you have that, even though you were also blocked.
Often the blocks that Ebay put in place are temporary measures. Also, so long as you don't bid on too many items in the same second, or get your password wrong too many times in future, usually they don't reimpose them again in the short term.
When Gixen encounters such a block it cancels all future snipes, to protect the whole platform from action by Ebay, and give you sufficient time to sort any issues that Ebay has with your account bidding via the Gixen server(s).

Post subject: CANCELED - VERIFICATION CODE REQUIRED BY EBAY
I got this error on a few snipes for ended auctions, and all my upcoming ones.
The first one said: Verification code required by eBay, could not log in
And I won that auction, and then another. Was outbid on another. The actual bidding behavior has been normal.
I followed the instructions on the link -- enabled the proxy thing and did a manual bid.
Should I delete and re-submit all the future auctions that now say "Cancelled"?
