The most common reason, as mentioned, is when you schedule multiple Gixen snipes for auctions ending on the same second. Other reasons for Ebay banning Gixen are unknown at present, but they are definitely happening with greater frequency. <br /> <br />2) Following Gixen's recommended steps for fixing this error (cache clearing, using Gixen's proxy, etc.) may or may not fix the problem. My theory is that there are different kinds of "Ebay bans". More often than not (at least for me), there is absolutely nothing you can do to lift the restriction, even following the steps, re-setting your password, doing manual verification 10 times, etc. In fact, you are probably better off doing nothing to avoid making it worse. I thought that changing the timing of mirror and regular site would keep them from going at the exact same time?
