There is no doubt that timeouts are more frequent than they used to be, from all Gixen servers. Since there were no changes on Gixen's side, I can only guess what changed on eBay's side. <br /> <br />I did, however, make some changes that I could do, and they seem to greatly help. Now for the final bid Gixen is able to squeeze another attempt if the offset is set to 6 seconds or more, which it is in most cases. This means that now 6 second offset snipes (or longer) are indeed expected to be more reliable than the shorter ones. Since I made these changes number of failed snipes dropped.
