I couldn't find a place to contact eBay directly about the scam, but I contacted the seller to let them know, and they replied with a personal email thanking me and indicating that they get so many shield bids these days that they have to inspect every auction for them. Anyway, another day, another dollar... |

If that is what you suspect (as do I) I recommend that you report the incident to Ebay. |

Thanks. You're right. I missed that. Sorry to have bothered you.
Looks like that $200 bid was a bogus shielding bid used to protect the low bid that won (seeing as it was retracted the second before the auction ended). I wonder if the seller knows he just got fleeced? |

There was a retracted bid of $200 on this listing. This prevented bid from being placed. |

Hi:
This regards auction # 311605119641
I had placed a Gixen snipe WITH mirror service, 3 seconds each. Neither bid got executed.
Can you explain what happened?
Thanks. |
