Yes, item numbers are required before a specific investigation can be made. If you could provide the status that Gixen gave the failed snipes after the auction had completed, then more explanation may also be able to be provided by other Gixen users. rickajho is correct that this can not be just because you have unpaid items, the restrictions that can be placed by sellers only relate to actual unpaid item strikes. Have you won other items recently from the same seller? Because there are also restrictions that sellers can put on their items that relate to the number of items that they are prepared to sell to any particular Ebay id.
I can check the logs for items approximately up to 2 weeks old.
This would be the first time I hear someone was blocked for (recently won) unpaid items. I would like to see what happened if that's the case.
Thanks. As stated above, I will report back asap letting you have the item numbers and error messages. :D

You are the only person to be reporting a new restriction, so far.
So more evidence would need to be analysed before any advice could be provided, or changes to the software contemplated.
It is common to buy many items before paying for any of them, people want to do that so that they can reduce overall shipping costs when buying from the same seller. So I find it hard to believe that Ebay would introduce a restriction that dictated you could only have one unpaid item before restrictions to bidding are imposed.
I also think there would already be many more reports here just from Gixen users if this were an new feature that Ebay had introduced.
Yes of course. I dont have any unpaid items at the moment so I think the best thing I can do is snipe a few more tomorrow , not pay for them immediately and then wait to see what the error message says on any that fail. I will keep you posted and report back here. :D

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
Okay, I have deleted the ones that failed now but will place some more over the next couple of days and then get back to you with the message that I am given and the item numbers. :)
This by the way has only just started occurring in the last week or so. I have used Gixen for quite a while and never had this error showing before no matter how many snipes I have placed during a 24 hour period?
If I had unpaid item strikes on Ebay, I could fully understand that sellers have the capacity to block bidders with 2 or more unpaid item strikes over a 6 month period. But this is not the issue here as I have never had an Unpaid Item strike.
The problem seems to be that unless I am sat in front of my pc waiting for each snipe to finish, so that I can pay for it almost immediately, then the snipe program is failing :(

You need to provide the eBay item numbers for your bids that failed before Mario can look into it.

So the "geniuses" at Ebay have now decided to prevent snipes if you have more than 1 Unpaid item.
How can this be resolved? The whole concept of sniping is to be able to leave your pc and place as many snipes as you want whilst going about your daily business. If I now have to panic to pay for every single item as and when I win it, then the whole idea of sniping has just been completely destroyed. Instead of sitting in front of my pc waiting to bid, I now have to sit in front of my pc making sure I pay immediately. Absolute rubbish. there is no point in using a sniping programme now is there?
(Not your faults I realise, but another spiteful rule by Ebay)
To get a strike,it means that you have not paid for an item for at least 8 days..Ebay would have notified you after at least 4 days and then given you a further 4 days to pay.
Hardly having to pay immediately is it!
Where in my post did I say I had an unpaid item strike??
I am not talking about a Strike !!
(I have NO unpaid item strikes against my name. )
I am talking about if you have 2 or more unpaid items (even if you have won them the same day) then the sniper is prevented by Ebay from sniping again.
So, let me clarify. I place snipes for lets say 4 items that are ending within a few hours of each other. I win 2 of those snipes but because I am not at home to make the payment, the further 2 snipes I have placed will not be allowed to place a snipe because the earlier 2 have not yet been paid for.
