I would ask the seller if you can mutually agree to cancel the transaction... that shouldn't cot them anything as they should get their fees back.. I believe.. and then they can either re-list or offer it to the next highest bidder. In order for this to be investigated further from a Gixen point of view you will need to let someone know the auction number, either here or, if you do not wish to make that public, via an email to the address given on the support tab above. Something like this happened once before, a long time (some years I think) ago.. but I can't for the life of me remember what the cause was now... it was something like a glitch on the communication between the Main and Mirror servers.. do you have a Mirror subscription?.. and if so do you see anything do do with this snipe on the Mirror tab?
I have been trying to find a previous occurrence... been back to 2012 and this is all I found:
http://www.gixen.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6062
however the issue there appears to have been resolved, in software terms to prevent it happening again, at the time, so it should not have happened for the same reason.

Post subject: I won a deleted item
I think there might be a glitch. I deleted an item from my snipe list and several hours later, ebay notified me I won the item. I went to look and the item was still showing in gixen, which is weird since it was not there after I deleted it.
The actual process I followed was I deleted it and then closed the chrome window. The page showed no items. Is it possible that if you close the window too soon, the item is not deleted?
Any suggestions on how to get out of the purchase?
