Yes, there are some differences in buyer claim processes between Ebay sites... to reflect local laws... I think you still get some buyer protection whichever site you bid on... but you have to use that sites procedures to gain access to it.

Post subject: Thank youand good morning!
Thank you, Cupid :) yup, you right, the Ireland site and the UK sites behave a bit better. The American site and the Canada sites playing possum for me. Hmm. It doesn't appear to be any issue with my account, since I read that many others are having this issue (community discussion boards Buying/Selling).
I think I understand your advice lol! My only concern about setting my snipes to target other ebay countries....is that it affects the buyer protections - for instance, my purchases "won" or "purchased" through the Canada site did NOT afford mme ebay's Money Back Guarantee, and I had to eat it, basically, when my glass arrived broken :( I guess everything's a gamble in the end though, right? Lol!
Thank you again for the kind reply, hope you have a great weekend too. - glk

If there are issues with the Ebay site, for your account, then you are best off contacting Ebay itself about that.
The only suggestion that comes to my mind might be to try one of the other Ebay satellite sites like ebay.co.uk (unless that is the one you already use, in which case try another alternative)...
There are a selection of target Ebay sites that you can set on the settings page here on Gixen if those sites work better for you. Any changes you make to that setting only affect snipes that are set up after that change has been made so if you want then to take effect on snipes that you have already set then you need to edit those snipes after you have made the change.

Post subject: Some improvement, but anxious snipe sign-in won't work
Got in. Hours of trying. Got the item number. Placed my snipe here. I remain anxious that this snipe bid, though mirrored, will fall through, I was unable to place any bid directly for the item on the ebay site.
So..any ideas how to get this accomplished? Thank you!

Post subject: can't access MyEbay summary page TO GET item numbers for s
That's it, in a nutshell. I cannot access my ebay activity summary page, my watch list, in order to get the item number to place my snipe with.
So I'm sorry I don't have it for you here either. The whole ebay website seems cyber smashed. Do you have any word? I've got 3 more days to set this snipe up for a backpack they quit making 5 years ago. Any help would be great. It's not my browser, at least I don't believe so; so many buyers and sellers on ebay community boards were reporting this problem with a wide variety of browsers. Of course we all tried patience and purges. Nada.
Oh the ebay community boards are filled with outrage, but no answers. Figured you might know a way around this. Thanks for any help.
