Placing a bid is a multi-step process, and only the final bid confirmation is done at 6 seconds before auction end. The first step in which low bids are declined happens much sooner, around 30 seconds before auction end. This is necessary, as there is no time to do everything (sign in, pre-bid submission, confirmation) at 6 seconds before auction end.
Post subject: Bid under asking price while my bid was higher
Thank you for your superfast answer, you are right saying that there was an higher bid cancelled just 9 seconds before the end of the auction but gixen should have placed my bid 6 and 3 seconds before the end, just after the retirement of the fake 600 eur bid. So has gixen placed my bids some seconds before I programmed them?
Thanks again

See bid history - there was a retracted bid of EUR 600 that was retracted only 9 seconds before auction end.
I would contact the seller - it's in his own best interest to re-list and not sell at the closing price. That 600 bid prevented a lot of bids from being placed.

Post subject: Bid under asking price while my bid was higher
Hi to everyone, maybe someone can explain this to me please: I placed a bid for the object 381354349740 with the standard 6 seconds and mirror at 3 seconds, but the auction closed at 264 EUR saying that my bid was under asking price, while my bid in Gixen was of 357,10 EUR, how could have happened this?
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
