With a Mirror subscription you can adjust the offset, by increasing it you make the bid happen earlier, ie longer before the auction ends.
As Mario states that would not have helped in this case though.. it might have meant your bid was placed, if it was early enough, but the later higher bid would still have won if it was still more than a bid increment above the auction price when it was due to be placed.

In this case I don't see that you were outbid, it looks like your bid was already lower than the current high bid at the auction end time, so eBay did not even accept it.

Post subject: someone else bid my gixen for 1 sec!
item number131534903858, two things here: one has a higher bid than me but the time was 2 sec before my gixen bid, then this person outbid me for 1 second! just wondering if this is something that is fixable! thanks
