I think you are probably correct that the verification window is incorrect in some way. Someone else reported the same recently. I think, for a detailed response from Mario, I would try sending him a direct email at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above and reference this thread in that email.
Post subject: Verification Code Required By Ebay, Could Not Log In
Thanks Cupid. Mario is a scholar and a gentleman.
Per Mario, my issue is probably that I was bulk loading .csv files without a varying offset such that multiple bids were being placed on different items in the same second. Ebay doesn't like that. Cleared my snipes, re-followed the instructions and will reload my snipes with varying offsets tomorrow after allowing 24 hours to pass.
Also, I can confirm that the Gixen proxy is working properly. I fired up wireshark and verified that all traffic to and from ebay is flowing through the correct 63. ip address, even though the Gixen.com window indicates I'm not using the proxy and the proxy verification window was still showing an IP I've never seen this morning.
Finally, gixen.com is in the proxy file, I must have missed it when I looked last night. Sorry about that Mario.
Thanks for all the help. :)

Post subject: Verification Code Required By Ebay, Could Not Log In
Hi All,
Well, I followed the instruction provided for resolving this issue (link associated with the error mentioned in the subject line). On both Firefox and Chrome the window provided by Gixen to verify connectivity to the proxy displays the following message, even after I have followed all instructions repeatedly:
Your IP address is: 173.208.136.78
This means that you are not connected to Gixen socks proxy.
Please follow the instructions below on how to connnect.
My IP doesn't even share the same first octet with that address, at least according to Google (Search: What is my IP?)
That said, loading ebay takes about four times as long, which would indicate that maybe the proxy is working and the verification window that Gixen has doesn't reflect this fact. Looking at the proxyconfig file, there is no mention of Gixen, so I'm not quite sure how it would act as an automatic re-route for the gixon.com domain.
Anyway, after doing everything Gixen advises in both Chrome and Firefox I am still getting verification errors on all snipes.
Can anyone suggest the next step I should take to correct this?
Thanks
