I installed Adblock Plus (thanks for the tip, those ads are really annoying) and now I only and always get 2 buttons. No matter how many times I refresh the page, I only ever get 2 buttons, so it definitely seems to be related somehow to ads. I get fed up with it quite rapidly though and disable the Extension as a result... I did notice that sometimes when the ebay page first loads, I get 2 buttons.
