Gixen works fine again, it's unlikely that you will be asked for any verification again.
The cause of the issue seems to have been a rogue Gixen API user who did something really, really unreasonable that seems to have triggered ebay's safeguards and subsequently affected the whole Gixen main site. The safeguards are now in place that this cannot happen again. |

I removed the proxy I set up yesterday, because I do not know if this is causing all my current troubles. I had to phone verify my 3 accounts this morning and then I get emails to reset my passwords again on 2 of my accounts. Waiting on the 3rd. Not even sure if Gixen will even work or not now. |

I was asked to verify the same account more than once yesterday... I think it depends how much you have been doing on different IP addresses, which include Gixens.
Unfortunately, Ebay does not seem to hold centrally any list of where you are verified... or if they have attempted to do so, they keep losing it.
Anyway, Mario seems to have successfully resolved the issues with the Gixen Main servers, for the present, so snipes should currently execute as you expect.
N.B. The Mirror was not involved in the issues yesterday and continued to operate flawlessly throughout.... I won quite a few auctions via the Mirror option yesterday. |

The reset worked fine and no I did not win the item I just snipe bid on. It had a good bit of run past bidding. But the main thing is the reset worked. |
Ran another Gixen snipe and won the item Sunday night. On Monday morning I was asked by Ebay to verify all 3 of my accounts with phone calls. I logged out after the last one and logged back in and they did not ask me again for a phone call verification. But hey maybe they will when I shut down and reboot? But then again maybe not. |

It does appear that things are back to normal...
It will not be by accident though, I know Mario has been working extremely hard at resolving issues today... he deserves great kudos if indeed he has managed to surmount the hurdles Ebay have erected over the past few hours. |

I have been successfully using Gixen. I had a few wins last night. I had 2 more snipes this morning and would have won, but they did not work. Now suddenly I have to do some sort of phone or text verification to Ebay. The seller would have certainly made more money with my bids easily trumping the bids that won. What gives. And why so suddenly this requirement when it was not asked for all these months. |
