This is quite unusual, and I don't think it's Gixen related. So what you are saying is that they suspended your account for good, you can't appeal, and they won't tell you why? Thousands of customers use Gixen every day, and I don't think I have ever heard of something like this in all the years since Gixen has been running. Sure, accounts get suspended, but with at least some explanation.
Just talked to another customer representative (who obviously have more knowledge about such scenarios) and he was able to reinstate my account after verifying my identity and linking this new account to my other two old accounts.
I believe that the automatic suspension was due to new account plus high value items plus a lot of bids within a short time which trigger eBay's security precaution.
Now this is resolved, and I appreciate your timely replies.

A few days back Gixen had a customer who placed thousands of snipes with a new account with no such issue. It's something else.

I can only speculate that this is a combination of new account and bidding too fast (100+ in 24 hours and won 20+). Anyone seeing this has prior experience?

Post subject: MC999 Your eBay account has been suspended
Registered a new eBay account on Saturday. Started using it to buy items with bids through Gixen API. have bid about 100 items and won about 20 of them over the 24 hours period from yesterday to this afternoon. Paid all items via PayPal. About an hour later, received an email from eBay (subject is the same as this topic) and the content is below.
"After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.
You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.
We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community."
I called eBay and they confirmed the suspension and won't tell me the reason and firmly informed me that I can not appeal.
I do not think of any reasons except the fact that I was using Gixen to bid frequently on a new account. Anybody has any thoughts on this? And any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
