Further to my previous post, it appears that you need to be logged in to Ebay to view this item... I think that may be new and is certainly an issue for adding items to Gixen since it usually is not logged in to Ebay during that process.
This is not new - and Gixen does log in in order to view adult category items. If that doesn't work, it needs fixing.
If you can find another active listing that you cannot add, please let me know and I will immediately look at it.

I guess that Ebay may have changed something on the 'Mature Audiences Category' page which prevented Gixen being able to access the auction page.
If you are able to provide an example which has not subsequently finished then I'm sure Mario will look into it as he has in the past... unfortunately, after the auction is finished it is not possible to test that any changes are fixed.
After I supposedly authorise access to the page I then get:
<---------------------------------------------------------------------->
Sorry, you are not allowed to view, sell, bid on or purchase items in the Adult Only category.
Due to restrictions regarding the sale of pornography over the internet, access to listings in the Adult Only category has been restricted. Continue shopping or return to your most recent search.
eBay restricts access to the Adult Only category because of laws in various countries that govern the sale of pornography over the internet. Many of these laws are more restrictive than those in the US, others are less clearly defined.
eBay has implemented this policy in an effort to protect our members from undue legal risk and to promote respect for the laws of other countries that regulate mature audience content. See more information about this policy.
<---------------------------------------------------------------------->
which may be the case for you too, in which case you would need an Ebay account registered in a different country before you would be able to buy this item.

Thnx prompt reply. It certainly wasn't a BIN; restricted category but that has not been an issue before. # is 231155350535 but oc has ended so I don't know what you can learn. Was abt 5 AM my time (EST) so I didn't think of trying support. Fortunately not one I wanted badly, but unnerving to think it can happen. Later in the day used gix w/o a hitch.

It can happen if it is a Buy It Now only item... or if Ebay have changed the auction page in some way... please provide example item numbers of items that you can not add.

What's happening when I get this error, followed by the item # enclosed in parens and then a "1"? (2/17) AM. Is this your code? Is something hidden in the ebay # that I c&p? I did not have time/patience to enter # by hand & wouldn't use gix if I had to. Tried both Firefox & Opera, same problem. My only bad experience to date but :x :x
