It's made in Embarcadero C++ Builder, and yes, there is definitely a close event hookup, so it shouldn't be difficult at all to implement.

Just curious, what is GDM written in? If you can hook the "application close" event, you can store the App.Top, App.Left, App.Width and App.Height in the gixen.ini file. Then when you startup, it should be trivial to read those values and set the window position. If first time, default to what you do now.
I'm using .NET lingo since that is what I'm familiar with. :)

Post subject: Desktop remember position?
I searched the forum, but didn't find anything...I'm sure this has been requested before:
Can you store the startup desktop manager window position so the next time I start Gixen Desktop Manger it appears in the same position on my desktop? You could probably store it in the ini file.
Another nice idea would be to remember my column widths in the grid too, but I know that is harder to do.
