That is the affect but it is not Gixen that controls it, that is how Ebay works.

So even without Mirror subscription, Gixen will only raise bids with minimal increments?

By default (and without a Mirror subscription) Gixen bids 6 seconds before the end of the auction.
The Ebay proxy bidding system ensures that you have to pay no more than one bid increment more than the next highest bidder and the fact that your bid is limited ensures you will never have to pay more than that.

Post subject: Did I get it right for the 1st time?
I've just used your service for the first time and I was just wondering if I understand it correctly.

So current bid is GBP 3.39 and mine is GBP 5.50. Gixen will now try to increase bid just minutes or seconds before item expires, but only as much as needed.
For example: my competitor will raise bid to 4.00 and Gixen will then be the last bidder who will increase it to 4.20, which is the next minimal amount, right? And it wont exceed GBP 5.5 no matter what?
And how fast gixen actually is, does it bid in last few seconds like some other paid services? Or should I rather use jbidwatcher for that manner, is it any faster?
Thanks for support.
