A misconception that a few Ebay users have is that the end time displayed on an auction is valid in any time-zone...
The time-zone displayed in the auction is the only one that applies, if you are not in that time-zone you have to work out what the end time will be for you.

Bid of $2111 was entered 8 hours (!) after auction already ended. The auction ended on 10/24/13 01:19:36 PM PDT, and this bid was entered on 10/24/13 09:03:37 PM PDT.
