There is nothing particularly unusual in the bidding on that item. The story goes that the bidder you beat had entered a bid of 200, more than a day earlier... a few minutes before the auction ended the bidder with 65 feedbacks bid the price up successively to 182 but then ceased bidding, presumably by then the price was then more than that bidder was prepared to pay... then in the last few seconds of the auction your bid, that was at least 5 pounds more than the 200 bid already placed, was sent by Gixen and you won the auction.... for one bid increment more than the next highest bidder.
You're absolutely right.
It took me a while to get it but I should have wait before posting.
Bottom line, Gixen helped me win the auction. Thanks a lot!

Post subject: Gixen is great but, did I pay more than needed?
Thanks to Gixen I am the winner of the article 251356730109.
What I don't get is the final amount of my winning bid.
Can someone check it for me?
I don't understand what happened between GBP 182.00 and GBP 200.00... Was that shill bidding?
