I am using Gixen for the first time today, and have signed up for Mirror. I have successfully manually entered two items. Now I am trying to import my Watch List and/or a Gixen list I have just created. I have about 15 eligible items (auctions, pending, etc., not Buy It Now, I haven;t already bid) in my watch list and have entered a couple items on a Gixen list (281116564449, 390607432662, 161041059512) to test with. But when I try to import either list, system connects, ponders things, screen blinks, nothing changes. I am assuming additional items should appear on the screen to be possibly edited into snipes, but have nothing to go by to know what should be happening; no examples.
With help from Mario, I think we have tracked the problem down to running Firefox 21 on Windows XP machines (2 different ones). Running Firefox 21 on Vista machines did not have the download problem.
The solution which has worked for the XP machines was to get the User Agent Switcher 0.7.3 add-on for Firefox, and create a user agent for Firefox 16, taken from a machine still running Firefox 16, as follows:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
The machine is still running Firefox 21, but it reports to Gixen, which reports to EBay, that it is running Firefox 16 -- and no download error occurs. It is not necessary to have any of the passwords saved in the machine for this to work.
UPDATE: I upgraded my two XP machines to Firefox 22. The basic situation has not changed; only now no error appears when I try to import the Watchlist. The solution of switching the user agent to show Firefox 16 still solves the problem and the lists then download OK. All else has been working fine and a pleasure to use.

I've noticed the problem in some instances - ebay seems to insert captcha images when Gixen tries to access watchlist. I recommend the following: change your ebay password, and choose a very strong one. After changing it do not log in to Gixen for 24 hours, then log in and try import again.
Note that any scheduled snipes will fail after you change your ebay password, so do this when you have no pending snipes.
Tried this solution; changed EBay password, waited. Just tried again to import Watch List and Gixen list. Error message now comes up "Can not import watch list; EBay requesting more information." Details sent in separate email. As info, I have never had any significant issues with EBay or account problems after long use (I have no reason to believe my account would get extra scrutiny from them.)

I finally got the Watchlist and the Gixen list to download. This worked when I allowed Firefox to remember my "Gixen" password, something I usually never allow programs to do. Now that it has worked once, I will test some more to see if remembering the password must continue to be allowed, or can be switched back off........Trnbob 6/18/13 7:54 pm edt

Gixen (Gixxy as I like to call it) has only baulked once for me with my Watch List.. and that was probably more my own fault anyway.
Firstly, I generally hit up Gixxy around 20min before auction and set my price. When I know I'll be prior engaged for an indefinite time (haha yeah, think rude things), I'll certainly move my whole Watch List and set that ish up, and hope for the best on my bids.
This one time, I was Watching, and wanted, a heap of stuff (you know, buy up on one Seller, slay your p/h and all that jazz). Anyways, Gixxo refused to take my whole Watch List. It would take some/most, but not all. If I recall correctly, I think it closed at 25 Listings.
I worked around that.
Anyways, OP, I know my experience doesn't help you much (especially after saying under 20 Listings), I just wanna say that there's no (real) problems my end.

Add'l info: I am running Windows XP SP3 and latest available Firefox on an HP Media Center AMD 64. I am running Ad Block Plus, but disabling it, and whether or not logged directly into EBay, made no difference in observed behavior.
