Not even changing the address to a US one will help if the account was originally registered with a non US address. This, however, depends on the seller - not all sellers impose this restriction. Post subject: bidding on items on ebay.com
I tried to bid on an item on ebay.com, but lost out because "the seller does not ship to the UK" - I have now changed my ebay site to ebay.com in settings - can you confirm that any bids I log will now be accepted (my daughter is currently working in the US and I get such items I win sent to her address, then pick them up when I visit).
thanks
David
