To confirm this - 2 minutes is a completely safe time. Less than that there is no guarantee, however Gixen does its best effort to both cancel a snipe and to execute an added one.

I think things start happening about 3 minutes before the auction is due to complete (logging in etc.) but checks for updates (like deletions of snipes) are done later than that so updates down to 2 minutes before the auction ends should get taken account of...
Anything less than 2 minutes before the auction ends is not guaranteed to be acted upon and...
Anything under a minute before the auction ends is more likely to mess things up than have your wishes fulfilled.

Hi all, how much time do you have to allow for a "last minute" bid change in Gixen?
