With the free service the failure rate is around 1 in 200, with the Mirror service it is very unusual for a snipe to fail. If you require more assurance that all your bids will be placed I would certainly recommend the Mirror service at only $6 for a year. Didn't you say that you had upgraded to a Mirror account?... If so, you are much better off than placing manual or automated bids many hours or even days before the auctions end, which only really serve to encourage others to bid against you, don't you think?
karl5731, if you don't need mirror, email me and I'll refund you, that's not an issue at all.
The reliability, however, is far greater with Gixen than what you would think, and especially so with mirror. It happened a few times in the last 6 years that it failed, but such cases are extremely rare.

It is... sniping is acknowledged by everyone here as the strategy that obtains eBay auctions at the cheapest price... and this service automates that for you so it even takes the stress out of it.
Successful sniping does require that you be very sure about what you are willing to pay for things well in advance of the auction close... but once you have mastered that, there are great savings to be made by using the technique... there are many reports here from users that are convinced they have saved the $6 they spent for a years service within just a few days ... take a look at the Impressions area of this forum...

This service wont do that for you, because it's a sniping service.
Since sniping is a better strategy for buying from auctions on eBay I am curious as to why you would want a service that bids immediately?
Can you further explain what you are trying to achieve with your desired bidding strategy?

It is a sniping service, why would you want it to bid straight away?
You can bid immediately yourself, on eBay.
