I think you are right, they may develop it in the future, so probably worth looking at again in a year or so.
There are many current eBay sellers that live in Japan (they are always complaining about the current shipping rate restrictions on the eBay sites that they can list on) and a large potential market so I think it makes sense for eBay to develop it and integrate it into the other eBay sites, at some stage. |

I tried to translate it using Google Chrome. I think eBay had a similar thing when was going to the market in other countries: they put some educational information on "how to sell", etc.
I tried to search for some popular items, but it did not find anything. Seems like eBay just started building their Japanese market. |

It's an odd site, isn't it?... My not being able to understand Japanese doesn't help... I suspect it is just a portal designed to channel visitors to other eBay sites. |

You are right - I googled for ebay japan, found nothing, so I assumed it does not exist. I'll see what I can do to add it. |
