Post subject: Early bid
If it is not to remove a Buy It Now price. It is to your advantage NOT to let other people know that you are bidding or even watching the item. If you were a sniper in a tree, waiting for a target. Would you take a shot two days early just to test the range?
You want to invisible, then come in and take one shot, one time, and win the auction. You do not need or even want to be the last bidder, just the highest bidder. Good Luck!

It is a strategy I use all the time to remove Buy It Now options that are higher than I am willing to pay.
You must make sure you use the same eBay account to set the snipe here on Gixen, otherwise, as Mario says, there are no issues.

Nothing will go wrong. Obviously, this makes sense only if your manual bid is lower than Gixen bid.

Post subject: Okay to put manual bid too?
Is it okay to place a bid on the item like 2 days before the auction ends, then put your maximum bid on Gixen? Will anything go wrong?
