I have always done it "by hand" which is completely fair, but I also enjoy winning auctions without thinking about it. I would like to set my sniping time to be LESS than six seconds. The guilt contaminates the delightfully malicious gratification I feel when I win. I'll probably stop sniping unless I find a service that allows a greater window of time.
