Can you provide some of the auction numbers that you had problems with? Is canadasilverbuyer the eBay id that you are subscribed to the Mirror with? You do realise that if eBay catches you bidding on your own auctions it will suspend your accounts? Presumably you are cancelling the transactions on the auctions you win?... They may catch you that way if you do it too often. It is never a good idea to use the refresh button with Gixen, there is software in there to avoid cancelling your snipes when you have edited them and use the refresh button, but relying on it is not a good idea... Use the Add button without any data entered in the fields, or select the Mirror tab and then back to the Main tab, to refresh the snipes that is much safer. Gixen does not automatically refresh prices, it only does that periodically, the field does not affect sniping and is only provided for convenience... if you want instant updates I would suggest you use the Gixen Desktop Manager for Windows... or look at eBay itself, don't rely on Gixen to provide up to date prices.
canadasilverbuyer,
The problem here is that you made those edits that late in the process. When an edit is made, Gixen does its best to cancel the existing "in flight" snipe and schedules a new one. Many times, however, there isn't enough time left to execute the new snipe. This is why it's clearly stated that no changes should be made in the last 2 minutes before auction end.
What you do is
shill bidding
, is against ebay's policy, and I am not happy about it either. You *will* get caught, because some user will notice what you are doing sooner of later. While usernames are no longer displayed, their feedback is, and it's easy to figure out what you are doing if anyone pays attention.
If you want a refund for the mirror subscription let me know, it will be issued.

Post subject: gave my coins away below my bid price
I did subscribe to mirror serive about 1 to 2 min before end of auction because I could not change the default of 6 seconds without subscribing to the mirror service.
I did an update once I was subscribed out of 10 transactions I believe 2 were sold under my bid price. My friend had to bid on one coin to move it up or it would have been 3 coins sold under my maximum bid.
I use this software to buy my coins back that don't reach my price and do not want to pay the reserve fee on ebay.
Well it cost me because I gave my won items to a bidder that bid lower than my bid maximum.
Not very happy!
would i have been ok if I didnt do the edit?
another thing the bids were changing and I would refresh my screen and the updated bids did not show ever, only maybe once on one item
The whole experience was a disaster.
