Mike,
Yes, that is another advantage of using a sniping service, you can Edit the amount of your snipe before Gixen places the bid, and you can cancel the snipe completely if you decide you don't want to bid on that auction after all.
That said, the best strategy, in my opinion, is to decide what your absolute maximum is, enter that as a snipe here on Gixen and then forget about it till after that auction finishes.

Mike,
Are you saying you have already placed a manual bid of $100, and that has already been outbid?
It matters little whether you have or not (though I would not recommend doing that in future)...
Yes, you can schedule a snipe with Gixen for a higher amount and so long as the auction price is lower than one bid increment below your snipe amount when Gixen comes to place the bid, Gixen will be able to do so, and you may win the auction as a result.

Post subject: Raising Bids
Hi, I am new to autobidding but say if i bid on an item for $100, before the auction ended and the highest bid is already $110, so i want to raise my highest bid to $150, can Gixen do that? do i just re-enter my new highest bid to Gixen?
thanks
Mike
