I would rather go through one sign-up than to have to retype my "username" every time I post. I also like to feel like I'm part of a community, rather than a "guest" all the time. |

Why would you want to register - what benefits do you have compared to posting as guest? It's usually forum admins who require registration to avoid spam (I handle this problem with anti-spam filters).
I figured much more people would participate in the discussion if they didn't have to go through a lengthy registration procedure. |
