I dowloaded Gixen Desktop Manager, but I get the following error messages:

a) Could not get user country, using default.

b) ERROR (101): LOG IN ON GIXEN.COM FIRST.

SO WHAT'S WRONG?

Please set up your account on Gixen first by pressing the 'Sign Up' button on the Home page and then following through with all the instructions.

Then log into the website here and administer your snipes via this interface.

We are awaiting an updated version of the Desktop Manager which will properly integrate with the upgraded technology now used here.

OK that's fine.

As per the second part of my post, please continue to use the web interface while we await a new version of the Desktop Manager to be released to us.

Please ensure that you are running version 2.0.1.

At the time of writing we have no reports of this version NOT working with the new Gixen system.

Please report any issues with it on this forum.

Just a couple of cosmetic oddities I've noticed in new Desktop Manager:
Reporting:
1) I've had items report as
    Time to end: ENDED,
    Status: SCHEDULED
which just looks wrong...
2) I've had items Won by snipe but reporting as OUTBID in Desktop Mgr
Data entry:
3) the Item ID field no longer parses for trailing spaces, which is a slight PITA when ^C^V'ing an itemnumber.
