|
|
I put a bid on item 201545712592. Gixen didn't make the bid stating 'AUCTION RESTRICTED: BIDDER HAS UNPAID ITEMS', except I don't.
I have checked with Ebay this morning and they have confirmed that I don't know, and didn't at the time of the bid have unpaid items outstanding.
In case it's relevant I don't have the mirror service.
Please help! |

Mario will need to check behind the scenes in order to see exactly what Ebay sent, and why Gixen interpreted it as it did.
For a faster response please email him direct at the support address given on the 'Contact' tab above. Please always include your Ebay id in such communication as well as the auction in question. You might also want to reference this thread. _________________ Mark |

To amplify on what Mario said, this isn't necessarily about current (open) unpaid items. Sellers can block your bids based on your unpaid item(s) history for up to 12 months from the date of your most recent unpaid item. Have you had unpaid items in the last 12 months? If so you can run into problems placing a bid.
To read more about auction restrictions that can be set:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/buyer-requirements.html
You can also view most of the restriction settings - and their many and varied options - by viewing them in your own account - even if you aren't selling anything:
My eBay > My Account > Site Preferences >
Scroll down to Buyer requirements, click on Show then click on Edit to see what restrictions a seller may place against buyers making bids. |
