Hey, Mario.

I tried the Gixen mobile app but cannot access it for some reason from my phone. I can go to the site, but it won't let me log in and returns the following error:

"Security Error: Untrusted server certificate"

I may have already asked this question back in July (I've slept since then) but couldn't find it in the forums here.

I'm using a Samsung phone on StraightTalk.

Does that mean my mobile browser won't handle SSL??

It means your mobile browser does not support all the SSL certificate signers, and it must be very old.

Gixen is using GoDaddy for SSL certificates, and the only time this creates problems is with quite old mobile phones.

I'm not sure what exactly qualifies as 'quite old' in technological terms, but it is less than a year old. It is a Samsung SCH-R451C "Messager" using the StraightTalk service (same company as TracFone and Net10 but supposedly on Verizon network) through Wal-Mart. Maybe it's the carrier and not the phone. The browser does seem somewhat limited.

It's not the carrier, that's irrelevant. It's the browser. I was wrong - it doesn't have to be old - but it's usually older browsers that do not support all the SSL signers.
